Mobility work vs Yoga

I practiced yoga for a long time before I started supplementing with mobility work. Now the mobility work is just part of the practice I do and teach. If the body is an orchestra, spending time tuning up particular instrumental sections will improve the harmony of the whole.

Specifically honing aspects of biomechanics gives you an awareness and understanding of how your body functions and how movement happens.

This is my one of my favourite routes to the oneness state between body and mind that Yoga practice shoots for.
